Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding: PVSC and Hermon Mountain are pleased to offer ski and snowboard lessons for adults and children of all abilities. The programs consist of four lessons/lift tickets. The prices listed below are for PVSC members only, as the club subsidizes the costs of the program. Lessons are offered for

• Skiing for Adults and Teens on Friday evenings starting at 6:00 p.m. for all ability levels from beginners to advanced skiers interested in improving technique. Cost of $70 includes four lessons, rental equipment, and evening lift ticket until 10 pm.
• Snowboarding for Adults and Teens on Friday evenings starting at 6:00 pm for all ability levels from beginners to advanced snowboarders interested in improving technique. Cost of $70 includes four lessons, rental equipment, and evening lift tickets until 10 pm.
• Skiing and Snowboarding for Juniors, ages 5-12, on Saturday or Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Lessons are offered for all ability levels. Cost of $40 includes four lessons and half day lift tickets until 1:00 pm. Discount Rentals are available, call Hermon for pricing. Please specify which day (Saturday or Sunday) that you will attend for the entire session.
• Skiing for Tots, ages 3 & 4, are offered only on Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m. The adult who accompanies the child receives a half-day lift ticket until 1:00 pm. Cost of $40 includes four lessons and half day lift tickets. Discount Rentals are available, call Hermon for pricing.

Rental equipment is available at Hermon Mountain. If you are renting equipment, you must go to the mountain a few days in advance to be fitted so that equipment will be adjusted and ready for you on the first day of lessons. Also remember to allow time to pick up equipment, sign in for lessons, and get lift tickets before the lessons. Please arrive at the mountain at least a half-hour before the lesson, and be outside ready to ski on time. The first day is very hectic so you may want to arrive even earlier. Your patience is appreciated on that day while groups are organized and instructors locate their students. Lessons last for 1 to 1 ½ hours, then skiers are free to use their lift tickets for the remainder of the time. There is an additional week between sessions for make up class due to weather cancellations.

*IMPORTANT: Second Session Start Dates may be delayed due to weather conditions during the first session lessons if more than one class cancelled due to weather. I will inform those registered if there is a change..
