PVSC has been grooming at Abbott Park in Winterport since 2008.  The trails are located behind the Leroy H. Smith Elementary School and connect to the Samuel L. Wagner middle school.  There are approximately 4k of trails that are available for skate and classic skiing (tracks will be present as snow conditions allow).

The trails at Abbott Park have seen some major additions in the last few seasons. In the fall of  2010 a 1km loop was added, connecting Abbott Park with Wagner middle school. In the summer/ fall of 2011, a trail was added to the elementary school playground with a big (up)hill for more advanced skiers.  The summer and fall of 2012 a 2km competition loop was completed. An excavator worked to improve the trails. Thank you to all the volunteers who have helped with these projects!
